<p>Hey I'm here to discuss ones resistance to blood bending. As we know blood bending can be overcome by a more powerful water bender as seen by Katara and the Avatar state as seen by Aang. However ones determination does seem to factor in the breaking of a blood benders grip as seen by mako partially, and Korra almost entirley as she is able to raise her arms and kick a gust of wind while under Amon's grip. Which raises the question was this just a fluke so that korra could defeat Amon or does determination factor into ones ability to break blood bending? </p>

<p>This is a question I've had for sometime, but how lucid is an unrealized avatar while in the avatar state on the wiki here it says they have no consciousness or control over their actions in the avatar state. </p><p>My guess is the avatar has some awareness judging by how aang remembers each time he enters the state but is in a trance where their awake to some degree but completely detached from their body's actions kind of like sleep paralysis </p>

<p>This is something I haven't really seen before, I have seen the ranking of ATLA a lot but for Korra not really </p><p>Here's mine </p><p>4. Book 4 Balance - The Main characters get little screen time ( Tenzin and Mako) Kuvira isn't really that interesting or intimidating of a villain, the Beifong family didn't really interest me all that much, Hiwever I liked Korra's PTSD arch Zaheer's returns and The finale. </p><p>3. Book 2 Spirits- The first half is rather boring the love triangle gets in the way and is just awkward. Unalaq is pretty much Ozai 2.0, he's not terrible but nothing great, This season includes some master pieces like Beginnings and A New spiritual age and the finale is at the very least exciting despite being a giant Deus ex Machine. </p><p>2. Book 1 Air- In the past I had been a little unfair towards this book but there's a lot of good stuff and Amon and his families backstory is really well done, The story is well put together, the down side is the ending with Aang just giving Korra her bending back. But I'm not complaining because Adult Aang is awesome. </p><p>1. Book 3 Change- This one felt the most complete had the best action for sure and felt a lot like the original with the teams adventures over the earth kingdom. Zaheer makes for a badass villian and though his cronies don't get much character, their bending abilities make them standout for me. Korra's sacrifice was great and the fact that 4 characters were killed in 4 episode span raises the stakes even higher. </p>
