<p>A while ago I wrote my own fan fic of Book 5: Revolution but I stopped due to college and I felt it was too biased. But looking at the three approaches
</p><p>Biased to self: Many ideas I had were things I would "prefer" to have happened in TLOK to make it more interesting, such as "Vapour bending from Water/Air", Iroh visits the physical world and Zuko goes all over him.
</p><p>I started getting comments about how certain aspects screw it up, such as the Chi Syncranization changing Opal's bending element to Earth, due to her family herritage, and her refusal to swap it back. Also didn't focus much on Korrasami...

</p><p>At the same time however I wanted something to happen which would people would critize, as in the show, there were certain actions people didn't like (a lot of which was shipping)
</p><p>
</p><p>Biased to readers: Essentially fan service and makes it too predictable.
</p><p>Example: Readers want this to happen, so in the next chapter... that happens. Also when hearing from different readers who's suggestions contradict, its hard to decide
</p><p>
</p><p>Completely random stuff: Pulling out something completely random is rather difficult as you don't know if it would go through or not. Unlike spongebob, the Avatar series is very complex and not very random

<p>Personally if there was to be an 3rd series I think it should take place right after Book 4 of TLOK. There is a lot of Earth Kingdom damage to fix, and plenty of emotional too. I had various Fanon ideas but none seemed right or I couldnt think of something believable. Any ideas I should think more into?

Tenzin has an massive conflict with Kya due to the method being "unnatural" and required some manipualtion of spirits. Also Tenzin's children fantasize non-stop about Kya's one child and want to see him/her as their cousin. Korra however finds it rather interesting due to her relationship with Asami
</p><p>Extra Possibility: Kya first tested this with Tenzin and Lin's genetic material after watching Tenzin have "children issues" with Lin which led to their break up. She created an earthbending child of Tenzin and Lin which would be effectively useless to Tenzin, so she set the child up for adoption in Zao Fu. An place she knew Lin would NEVER want to go to

Family has trouble forgiving him </p><p>Mostly an book of an emotional journey of Baatar Jr. He has an crush on Kuvira for a long time and took the "Earth Empire" thing as an good opportunity but as we know, it fails. In this book he tries to regain his Father's approval </p><p>
</p><p>3. The Book of Death </p><p>This was an strange dream I had of watching Book 3. However it takes place 15 years after Book 4. I found it to saddening to think about </p><p>-Every original Team Avatar member has past away. Katara, Zuko, and Toph </p><p>-At the beggining Bolin is seen crying at Toph's grave while hugging his 3 year old son. He promises to name him "Toph Jr" and Opal has concerns with it. Mako appears shortly after facepalming and "I cant believe you married my brother". </p><p>Bolin also has the mustache of his Father </p><p>-Tenzin, Lin, Suyin, Bumi, Kya, Tonraq, Senna have all retired and are no longer helping Team Avatar. All of their hair are white </p><p>-An villain combines spirits with technology to create demonic robots. Unlike previous books, Korra and crew have to do this without the help of the newly retired Team Avatar allies. Also Bolin constantly panics and hopes his wife and son are safe </p>

The writers talked about this in the blue-ray commentaries. They confirmed Kuvira really loves Baatar (for some reason), and that shooting at him with the spirit cannon was a tough decision for her. And yes, I also sympathise with her. She most likely did more good than bad even though she was misguided in her ways. </div>If she loved him then why would she sacrifice him to take over another country even thou she dous't even need to take that country. </div> <p>Seems odd that if she loved him that much and it was an "tough decision" she would hesitate a bit or think slightly longer than firing at him 10s later. <p>To me, the Avatar world is rather gender neutral, randomly the male or the female is stronger than their significant other (couple, sibling, or reincarnate)

One of them was Kya being an mass rapist, but got impregnated by one of her victims so she got them to adopt the child. </p><p>I haven't talked to him for a while now, but he said in the story Tenzin scammed Air Acolytes, claiming to be raising money for charity by making fruit cakes, but actually gave the money to Aang who needed it. Korra later finds from the tree Aang used that money for helping the homeless/victims. Meanwhile Bumi killed some foes in his past and hes now unsure if its still eligible to be an Airbender </p>
Why not just adoption? For familiar drama, it can work just as well if Kya had a kid by normal ways and abandoned him.</i></div>

<p>Welp, the other idea seems innappropriate for the series, and would work female to female
</p><p>Bloodbend one of the parents body fluids into the others womb, then preform traditional healing techniques from the inside. This would draw upon the life giving properties of water except when using someones elses body fluid it can be used as an replacement for sperm

</p><p>The technique I'm suggesting purifies an Spirit Vine with the water + genetic material, removing the "Spiritual" aspect of it. However the remaining seed contains the physical growth capability of Spirit Vines
</p><p>When the seed is planted for several months it follows the genetic material that replaced the spiritual traits of the vine

<p>I've been thinking about it for a while of how it will all play out, however it also seems too "different" from TLOK. There is no villain and rather an conflict between natural and artifical. Also bringing LGBT into play...
</p><p>A while back I wrote "Book 5: Revolution" where Tenzin goes psycho after an new character tries to modernize the Air Nation but I stopped it at the part where Tenzin supposedly kills him, then he sees an illusive figure of Aang scolding him "all life is sacred". Too far?
</p><p>In this book I will have Tenzin angry as Air Nation culture tries to stay natural. Calmer with Kya's artifical children, but later in the book when the method is explained, the first successful experimental child will be brought up, being an mixture of Lin and Tenzin. This is where the real drama comes in
</p><p>She is introduced early in the book assisting in fixing Zao Fu and talking to Kuvira about "orphan issues" but her relationship to the healer is never mentioned
</p><p>While this is all social drama, Im trying to think of ways to incorporate some combat as that makes up every Avatar chapter

After talking to him for a while, he reveals Kya is his Mother and the Women Kya brought with her is his "Father" </p><p>This was done using an advanced healing technique which required drawing life force spirit vines from the Bayan Groove tree, combined with genetical material of an human (from the Father) </p><p>Both children are biologically human and genetically an mixture of Kya and the spiritual healer. </p><p>The oldest being an Vapour bender, an waterbender who can bend water in gas form (Between Mako and Korra's age). The younger one being a daughter is an very friendly healer, but usually just looms clothing (Approx Bolin's age) </p><p>

<p>Kind of reminds me of the Korrasami shipping issues some fans had.
</p><p>Fans requested Korrasami, so Bryke tried to force it in in the last 2 books. Many were dissapointed about it being forced at the last moment with lack of development, compared to Makorra (which no one wanted anyways)

<p>Personally I wouldn't pick Pema/Tenzin as it appears their children are restricted from the outer world. None of Tenzin's children have friends outside air temple island except for visitors, and upon leaving it in Book 3 (Kai and Opal). With the conflict between Tenzin's children I don't think Id go well
</p><p>I would go with Suyin/Baatar with earth/metal bending as I am an robotics engineer and work with metal frequently. Up untill Book 4 siblings would be peaceful, I'd probably go well with Baatar Jr. Age wise, somewhere between Huan and Baatar Jr. Having learned self-defense, I would have combat knowledge but no master (much like the metalbending engineers Mako and Bolin fought in the last episode)

</p><p>Old Wounds: I would greet Lin in the same fashion as Opal, even though it wouldn't work. Then I would tell my siblings about Lin so they'd care more about her visit (all of Opal's brothers seem to ignore Lin throughout "The Metal Clan" and "Old Wounds"). If more showed concern towards Lin's condition it would be harder for her to shun them out (like she did to Opal) and the family crisis would be resolved quicker.
</p><p>I would actually persuade Opal to think more before deciding to go to the Northern Air Temple. The character values family very highly and she has never been outside of Zao Fu and suddenly disconnecting from her family to an unknown place would be an extreme and sudden transition.

</p><p>Terror Within: I would immedietly get help from other guards through the train station. Knowing Zao Fu having high security, any intruder would very likely be too OP to handle (such as Zaheers crew). Would also commander metalbending guards to put plates into the lava, then push inwards to close the gap, as well as tell Opal to blow wind continously at the center, blowing Zaheer's smoke cover (assuming persuasion to decide later does work) </p><p>Rest of Book 3 I'd stay out of Avatar issues like Suyin's sons </p><p>

Otherwise would take Baatar Jr's place, engineering Baatar Sr's projects. I would however using radio communication keep close watch on Kuvira's actions </p><p>Book 4: Enemy at Gate </p><p>I would tell Suyin/Baatar I am going to join Kuviras troops and pretend to be one of them, then send them back any information on their plans. When Baatar Jr and Kuvira confront Suyin/Baatar Sr I would agree to their "accomplishments" and join. </p><p>

I would also put an weak spot in the mecha suit (ex: One of the outer plates is hollow and filled with sand, making it fragile enough hitting it with an rock would break it, but metal benders cannot bend it. Also the sand would make it seem heavy as if it werent hollow). I would also send information about the weak spot to republic city. I'd also get information on "Operation Beifong" </p><p>E10: I would persuade engineers that I need to get measurements of the Spirit Laser weapon inorder to fit/install it properly, then go to the factory its constructed. When Suyin/Baatar/Sons are freed, I would join in. Fail but Toph rescues and takes us back to republic city </p><p>Day of Collosus: Would focus on bending rocks at the weak spot to break it open, making an quick breach for team Avatar. I'd stay out of the rest </p>
