<p>Azula did smile (usually evilly) quite a bit in the cartoon, whether when she knew she was powerful and didn't expect to be beaten or when she was reminiscing about certain actions, such as during her conversation with Zuko about giving him the glory of supposedly killing Aang and smiling about not having to worry if the Avatar was still alive. </p><p>However, how often did Azula laugh or even chuckle? She wasn't like other cartoons' versions of psychotic villains who laugh crazily, especially since she wasn't exactly insane until Mai and Ty Lee betrayed her. It seemed that she only laughed--and crazily, like a villain instead of merely an antagonist--when she was truly mentally instable, such as in the last Agni Kai with Zuko. Were there any episodes (and if so, which ones) that Azula, before insane, actually had real laughter or chuckles, even if they sounded crazy? </p>

<p>What is the plural form of the "kai" in Agni Kai? Due to being based on Asain words, both Chinese and Japanese, fans seem to use it both ways.  For example, "The simple truth of the matter is that we don't know the custom in regards to female fighters in Agni <i>Kais</i>." in a different discussion; but in its actual article, there is the example, "Before Sozin's ascent to power, Agni <i>Kai were</i> rarely fought to the death" instead of "Agni <i>Kai was</i> rarely fought to the death". </p><p>So what correct form is it for plural Agni Kai(s)? </p>

<p>Ursa made that deal with Ozai for Zuko's life, but there is one part that isn't completely clear, and another part out of curiosity. </p><p>Real Question: 1. When Azulon ordered the rest of the family to leave and no one else was supposedly there, (although Azula and temporarily Zuko were hiding), Ozai finally asked his father for Iroh's birthright.  So how do the Fire Sages think that Azulon's supposed dying wish was for his 2nd son to be his successor? They didn't hear anything of the conversation, and although Iroh wasn't there to be <i>crowned</i>, they still could've <i>announced</i> Iroh as Fire Lord and then waited for his return for a proper coronation. </p><p>Curiosity: 2. If Ursa had never found out and Ozai had gone through as planned with the punishment, does anyone think that Azulon would have slightly changed his mind, thinking Ozai strong to kill Zuko, although it was just a punishment at first, and eventually give him the throne on his own without the fake dying wish? </p>

<p>Is the redirected lightning not as strong as the original lightning? </p><p>I ask because, for example, in the end of <i>The Search Part 3</i>, when Zuko redirects Azula's lightning, it actually hits her, yet not even her clothes have a burn. So is the redirected lightning not as powerful as its original lightning, or was Zuko, since he tried to help her as she ran away in the end of this same part, lowering the power himself when he shot it back? </p>

<p>On the hardback's front cover, there is Aang and Zuko in the middle, and then up above and much larger on respective sides, Roku and Ozai; people from the past, although Ozai is still alive. I understand that it's about Aang's and Zuko's respective relationships/antagonism with Roku and Ozai and how they are "helping" the 2 teenagers make their decions, whether about the continuing the Harmony Restoration Movement or fulfilling the promise if the HRM isn't, but sometimes I think that the man on the right should have been Sozin instead of Ozai. </p><p>This is because of a few ideas besides being people from the past, such as how Aang and Zuko's relationship are coming along in <i>The Promise</i> after being good friends as a part of Team Avatar, just like how Roku and Sozin were originally excellent friends, as if brothers and even with the same birthday, but then because of Sozin's ambition, their friendship broke apart. </p><p>Another idea/reason would be how Aang doesn't want to fulfill his promise and kill his friend Zuko if his choice to not remove the older colonies turns him into an ambitious Fire Lord like his forefathers, like how Roku refused to kill his former friend Sozin, even though (whether in the show or the comic) he notes that Sozin's death would have prevented the war and thus extremely many other deaths throughout a century. </p><p>Even though the cover's artwork is already done, do you think that the man next to Zuko should have been his father, Ozai, or his great-grandfather, Sozin, instead? </p>

<p style="margin-bottom:1em;margin-top:0px!important;">If males, in this case Zuko, have to fight bare-chested, then he wouldn't be able to have any of the same armor that Azula wore because that would cover his chest down to the top of his stomach.  That is both not fair for the men and also, that armor is a shoulder garment, since it covers both the chest and shoulders, as shown in the picture, so Azula should have to take it off, as per custom.</p> <p>Why doesn't she? This seems like another goof of the siblings' attire in Sozin's Comet Part 3, just like Zuko not fighting bare-chested. </p><p>Azula_hanging_from_a_cliff.png‎  </p><p>Can anyone explain why she wouldn't need to, if this isn't a goof? </p>

<p>In Book 3: Fire, when Azula is not wearing her formal robe in war meetings, she normal wears her royal shoulder and chest Thai armor and an unusual outfit which has both pants and seems to be a weird "tunic" with the middle part slit.  For an example, look at where she is hanging on to the cliff with her headpiece. </p><p>http://avatar.wikia.com/wiki/File:Azula_hanging_from_a_cliff.png </p><p>Can anyone say what her outfit is called? </p>

<p>What is the original source of firebending? In <i>The Firebending Masters</i>, the true source seems to be at least 3 different, possible things: the Sun, the dragons, and the fire (the life and energy) of the soul. So which is it? </p><p>In <i>The Firebending Masters</i>, when Zuko's firebending is so weak due to changing sides, he and Aang go off to the ancient Sun Warriors civilization, despite both them and the dragons being supposedly extinct. There is a good argument for which of these 3 are the true source: for the sun, firebenders draw their power from it, are weaker at night, and cannot bend at all during a solar eclipse; for the dragons, they were the "original" firebenders until the Sun Warriors became the first human firebenders after understanding the connection between the sun, the dragons, and the fire of soul; for the fire of the soul, after Aang learns from the dragons, he says, "<span style="line-height:22px;">I thought firebending was destruction.....</span><span style="line-height:22px;">But now I know what it really is ... it's energy, and life", and Zuko says, "</span><span style="line-height:22px;">It's like the Sun, </span><span style="line-height:22px;">but inside of you......</span><span style="line-height:22px;">I lost sight of my inner fire."</span> </p><p><span style="line-height:22px;">Which would you say is the <i>true</i> original source? A person's soul's fire/life/energy, the dragons, or simply the sun?</span> </p>

<p>The article "Agni Kai" has this sentence in the tradition section: '<i><span style="line-height:26px;">In a proper fire duel, each combatant, if male, fights with a bare torso.' </span></i> </p><p>Why doesn't Zuko remove his shirt and fight Azula with a bare torso, like he did when facing Admiral Zhao? This is a very proper fire duel, since it is for the crown of Fire Lord. </p><p><span style="line-height:26px;">Most of the other traditions are followed, except for the gong, such as the siblings facing each other at an open area and at what seems to be around sunset; and Azula takes off her shoulder garment, but of course keeps on her whole robe since she is female. However, although Zuko only has his clothing and no shoulder garment since he joined Team Avatar, does not even take off his shirt to fight with a bare torso.</span> </p><p><span style="line-height:26px;">Did Zuko just not bother to follow this tradition of a bare torso in the fight with his sister, unlike he had in his duel with Admiral Zhao?</span> </p>

<p>This is a question that I have been wondering about for quite a while: How did the Northern Water Tribe, while Aang instead of Korra was still the Avatar, have a chief and his royal family after Chief Arnook died later on (unseen)? </p><p>We know that Princess Yue, Chief Arnook's only child, "died" and became the next Moon Spirit, and we never saw his wife, so it's assumed his wife had already died sometime during Yue's childhood. Also, whether or not Yue's fiance, Hahn, survived both the fall from Zhao and the arctic water's temperature if he hadn't died from the fall, and we just didn't see him again in the show since he was a minor character, he no longer was going to become first the prince and then the chief due to not being engaged to Yue anymore because of her "death". </p><p>So what happened to the Northern Water Tribe in terms of rulers? Did Chief Arnook marry another woman and have another child, so that this kid would eventually grow up to become the chief or royal wife? Or did Chief Arnook appoint a high-status male waterbender or warrior as the next chief and start teaching him how to be a good ruler of his tribe before he died? Could Yue, as the Moon Spirit, have told her "former" father who the correct next leader was, and because of being a spirit, he trusted her "nomination"? </p><p>How could the Northern Water Tribe decide who the next chief and royal family was going to be with only Arnook, and no betrothed daughter having Hahn eventually become the next chief or no wife to have another child? </p>

<p>How old do you think Kiyi is in the comic trilogy, <i>The Search</i>? </p><p>She still plays with her doll and looks quite young, so maybe 6 to 8? </p>

<p><i>Warning! Spoilers!</i> </p><p>At the end of <i>The Search Part 3</i>, Ursa had her face changed back and her former memories returned. However, such as when Ikem/Noren was cooking with Kiyi at the end, he still had his Noren face, and we didn't see him get his face changed back to look like an older version of Ikem. But there were only a few pages left to read, and it didn't really show him after the cooking scene while Zuko was talking with his mother. </p><p>Do you think, such as during the time of <i>The Rift</i>, when Zuko and his "new" family didn't appear, that Ikem decided to change his face back, with help from the Mother of Faces spirit? Sure, Ursa would still love Ikem with his Noren face, but would Ikem want (or decide to get) his previous face back as well? </p>
