The Search Part Three

<p>Throughout the serise,when Azula lost her mind, she was obsessed in becoming Fire Lord and one evidence that she had was Ursa's letter to Ikem. It had stated "our son". Azula is highly intelligent person, within the serise of the Search and Smoke and Shadow, it doesn't state whether she really knows that zuko is not Ikem/Noren original child. However she did accept the fact that she wasn't meant to be Fire Lord.  </p><p>Ozai had told her about the letters, and was an advance to taking the throne from Zuko. It hard to say what was discussed when Azula and Ozai were talking in prison. </p><p>However it is hinted, that she was willing to kill Ursa, regardless of her visions. Was she also going to kill her, becuase if she had used that letter, Ursa would tell the truth to everyone within the Fire Nation, that in fact, that Zuko was Ozai's son.  </p><p>Do you think Ozai told Azula, that even though that this was an advantage to gain the throne, that Ozai told her, that he was original father not Ikem? and if not, does Azula know that Zuko is not Ikem's original child? </p>

<p>Is the redirected lightning not as strong as the original lightning? </p><p>I ask because, for example, in the end of <i>The Search Part 3</i>, when Zuko redirects Azula's lightning, it actually hits her, yet not even her clothes have a burn. So is the redirected lightning not as powerful as its original lightning, or was Zuko, since he tried to help her as she ran away in the end of this same part, lowering the power himself when he shot it back? </p>

<p><i>Warning! Spoilers!</i> </p><p>At the end of <i>The Search Part 3</i>, Ursa had her face changed back and her former memories returned. However, such as when Ikem/Noren was cooking with Kiyi at the end, he still had his Noren face, and we didn't see him get his face changed back to look like an older version of Ikem. But there were only a few pages left to read, and it didn't really show him after the cooking scene while Zuko was talking with his mother. </p><p>Do you think, such as during the time of <i>The Rift</i>, when Zuko and his "new" family didn't appear, that Ikem decided to change his face back, with help from the Mother of Faces spirit? Sure, Ursa would still love Ikem with his Noren face, but would Ikem want (or decide to get) his previous face back as well? </p>

<p>In the Search Part 2 it was revealed that Ursa faked the letter she wrote regarding Zuko's true parentage to provoke Ozai and to see if he was intercepting her letters home. Ozai, angry, confronted her. Ursa told him that Zuko was his son and it was a lie, to which he responed by telling her that he knew it was a lie as he had her followed for months prior to their wedding. If so why did he even confront her on the matter as opposed to just ignoring it. </p>

<p>After finally reading the sypnopsis of The Search: Part 3, was anyone else a little disappointed? </p>

<p>She says she's crafted faces since before the beginning of time, so does that mean she makes everyone's faces? Does it say in The Search? I haven't read Part 2 yet, so can someone help me out? </p>

<p>Near the ending of <i>The Search Part 3</i>, we see that Azula runs off into the Forgetful Valley while the Mother of Faces reappears and changes Ursa back to her old self. Yet, we never see in the comic where Azula is truly planning to go or what happens to her at all, and <i>Part 3</i> is the last of <i>The Search Trilogy</i>. Also, Aang suggests that she changed to a better person, due to what Ursa (as Noriko) said about being sorry for not loving her enough and bringing Azula to the edge of tears. </p><p>Will we ever see Azula again? Do you think Zuko, since (like he mentioned in the comic) they are brother and sister, will try his best to find her, like he tried to find his mother? If so, where do you think we will see her (and I mean in an actual location, not an upcoming comic/LoK flashback episode) and what do you think she will be like? Still completely psychotic, more like her old cunning self, or even nicer? </p><p>Do you think there is a possibility we will see Azula in <i>The Rift Trilogy</i>, even though that is more about Team Avatar and not the Fire Nation's ruling family? Team Avatar did include Zuko for a while in the anime and does include him at times in the manga, like this trilogy, even though he has a whole nation to rule and worry about right now as Fire Lord, so if he appears he might look for Azula or Mai, and they might be in this comic trilogy. </p>

<p style="line-height: 12.6pt;"><span>I did not like how Ursa a dedicated mother for her children would first of start another family with Ikem intentionally or unintentionally.She is a dedicated mother in the show,but somehow she abandon her duties for herself.She scarifice her life for her childen and would have thought she still would be.I would have thought since the avatar world is base mainly on asian culture that they would retian their ideology.The Tv series did show as first born son important with azulon and i would have thought it extended to other ideoloy like one family and husband.She abandon these ideology and does not make sense in the world of avatar.Some might think that she have gone through enough pain that she deserves something for herself but as a dedicated mother portrayed in the TV she would still watch over zuko and azula maybe through the news.It did show she try to do that but i think that would be a better story.She would have never wipe her memory in the TV series.What was the most hated part of the book was at the end when Ursa got her memories back.she told zuko what everything had happen.Whats wrong with that part is that shenever say anythng about zuko scar since he got it after she left and azula.No she only care about telling her story.I would have thought the first thing she say would be what happen to you and azula.They might have jsut skip that part but thats a emtionally situation where hopefully we would like to see..I would have thought she would ask all the others to find azula at least end in there.I feel that they force spirits to play a major role in this book to show how spirits became more influential in the story from the original to korra.The original did show a little spirit playing a role in the story but not a major one like in legend of korra.Now what do we do now that Ursa has an daughter.I really did not like how Ikem persuade Ursa not to stalk on her children.I think he trick her to be with him.I also did not like how she remember what she said to Azula before changing back.How can she retain her memories.New face = new memories and old ones stick to the old face.It did not say she would like to retain her memories of having a family with Ikem.</span></p> <p style="line-height: 12.6pt;"><span>My suggestion in the end is Zuko saying something wise from Uncle Iroh like you can't live two lives.You have to choose one and I will not let that child lose her mother.This will be the last time I call you mother Good Bye.Runs to find Azula.Both fight and zuko release all his frustation on keeping the family intact through his firebending.So there will be massive fire and Ursa will look from a distance with horror.</span></p> <p>

</p> <p style="line-height: 12.6pt;"><span>Final note:this wasnt in part 3 but think it was in 1or2 about ozai.It was disturbing how he was protrayed as a crazy man saying you are mine to Ursa after their marriage.Ozai only show emotions in anger ad moment of triumph in the original avatar.Marrrying Ursa was never one those moement where he would say something like that.In theshow it did somewhat show him as a good father back in the day and from that I would have thought his words would be more positive.It even show it in the search. It did not match what he would have said before or after becaming greed for power.He is portrayed like the man who portrayed him in the amber island show exagerrated. </span></p>

<p>In The Search Part 1, we see that Ikem is at a pool where the blue wolf spirit drinks from. We learn in Part 2 that being at the same pool that the wolf drinks from can cause you to get a different face. </p><p>Do you think that Ikem, being with the wolf, did get a new face or not? Because maybe, if you don't want a new face, the wolf/Mother of Faces will respect that. If Ikem did get his face changed and if Ursa ever went into the forest, it would've been harder for her to identify him if she ever found a guy in that huge forest. Do you think Ursa tried to and did find Ikem in the forest? </p><p>And if Ursa did go into the forest, do you think that her face could've been changed (referring both to my question about the wolf having to or respecting your wish about face-changes and that Rafa never got a face-change, despite being there for so long)? If not dead and found by Team Avatar, I wonder if Ursa doesn't totally surprise her kids in the way she now looks, maybe completely unidentifiable. And I wonder if they find her with Ikem, or if we will ever see how Ikem looks now, like if Ursa leads them to him. </p>

<p>There were flashbacks in both of the previous Parts of The Search, so do you think there will be in Part 3? This Part seems to be mainly about Aang in the Spirit World and the fight Azula started at the end of Part 2, so I doubt there will be any flashbacks. </p><p>I'm just wondering because 1 thing has me totally wanting more info: Azulon's dying wish/death. In "Zuko Alone", we learn that Azulon's dying wish was supposedly for Ozai to become Fire Lord, and the Fire Sages all believed Ozai's claim, giving him the crown. We know in Part 2 that Ursa made the poison and gave it to Ozai, so he could kill Azulon. But how did the poison get to Azulon? And was that his true dying wish? How could Ozai visit Azulon when he was supposed to be killing Zuko at the same time, so was it a servant, under Ozai's orders, giving Azulon the poison, maybe in a drink? Also, if it was Ozai who went to Azulon after their argument and said he had killed Zuko, do you think that Azulon would've believed him and believed that he was stronger than Iroh, who surrendered the Ba Sing Se battle after his own son's death, and then allowed him to be the heir? </p><p>I just hope there's a flashback that shows how Ozai gave the poison to Azulon and to see if they actually talked before he died. Because if they do talk while having a meal together with the poison, Azulon might have realized while dying that Ozai is the one who was killing him, and might truly have wanted Ozai instead of Iroh to become Fire Lord after all the strength and courage Ozai had to kill off the current Fire Lord.  </p><p>What do you think? Do you think there will be any flashbacks in Part 3? And do you think, if so, one of them will show how Ozai got the posion to Azulon and where/with whom he died (and other stuff listed above)? </p>
