So for any of you who have not yet seen the finale of the third season of Legend of Korra, spoilers. Major spoilers.

Korra might be crippled. I know this might already be a discussion, but I just wanted to add my 2 cents. There are so many pieces of evidence shwoing that Korra might be permanently crippled from the waist down. The first piece shows itself when Zaheer administers the poison to Korra to bring out her Avatar State. This might be a total shot in the dark, but what are the chances the poison had side affects? Zaheers idea was to kill Korra with the poison, but no one knew for sure what affects it would have if it did not kill her. Even though Suyin did manage to extract the poison from Korra's body, the posin had been inside her for a long time. Perhaps the poison left a permanent affect on Korra's body. Next, we have the battle of Korra and Zaheer. Notice how Korra almost always tried to land on her feet. It's common sense really, but when your air bending is limited, you are weak from poison, and you are battling on cliffs with drops that would kill any normal person, your odds of landing on two feet and being perfectly fine are pretty much non-exsistent. Aside from that, the constantly landed on her back, where the spine is. If her legs did not break from such falls, her back most definetly did. Thirdly, her wheelchair days. It was shown that she was till recovering from her battle with Zaheer two weeks later and was in a wheelchair since then. Even though no one expected her to heal completely in only two weeks, she is the Avatat and a pretty speedy healer, taking into consideration all the things she had lived through and such. The fact that she was still in a wheelchair after her battle, even though it had taken her far less time to recover from equally painful battles may be a clue at her inability to walk. Lastly, we have the ceremony. Throughout the ceremony and even before when she was getting ready, she seemed zoned out, like she wasn't even there. She seemed depressed, even though she saved the Nomads and pretty much the entirety of her world, so why did it look like she was depressed? She didn't talk to anyone, she barely acknowleged her friends and family, and she just seemed sad. Coupled with the fact that she cried when the Nomads vowed to do her work in her name, and her tear did not seem to be of happiness, this may indicate she is hding something from her friends, the scret she does not anyone to discover, but will most likely be discovered one way or another. The secret of her not being able to move her legs, not being able to feel her legs. She might be hiding the fact she is crippled, or atleast thats my theory.
