What would you change in The Legend of Korra?
What would you change, add, remove, etc. in the plot?
What would you change in The Legend of Korra?
What would you change, add, remove, etc. in the plot?
So the 6 seconds zuko gets slammed by ghzan and the few seconds a single wave takes out a team of mechs are better than:
Tenzin vs zaheer
Zaheer vs kya
Unalaq vs korra
Bolin vs Ghazan
Lin vs Suyin
Suyin vs Kuvira
Korra vs Kuvira
Korra vs zaheer
Etc.
What standards are you using to judge what you think is a better or worse fight? I would love to see your perspective.
Not only do the following fights have a longer runtime, a lot of them have narrative importance, weight, better animation, choreography and cinematography. so I would love to see why you think those two brief fights are better than every other fight in the show.
@OmegAlfa2002 you'd change everything too what specifically would you change, remove, and add too the legend of Korra
@STARWARFAN1 I'm asking your reasons to see why you think these changes would enhance the show. especially such as taking the main character out of the show. I genuinely wonder how you think that would make the show better or if you would insert a different main character
@Bastion2.0 Avatar Aangs fight with Yakone Is better than any other fight in the show its my personal favorite fight and scene in the entire show
As you've said. but I ask what makes this fight better than the others? what is your personal criteria?
Also while you don't have to, I'd like you to answer the other questions; I'm genuinely curious
@Bastion2.0 I love it for one it involves my favorite character in the entire avatarverse that being Avatar Aang and its just cool seeing aang in action the animation is great the choreography is great the way he takes away yakones bending away is the same way he took Ozais bending away I liked that aang riding a giant air scooter was cool I love anytime aang goes into the Avatar State and that includes in this scene I loved the cinematography in the fight I love how aang was able to break out of the bloodbending grip yakone had on him all this just confirm that even in his 40s aang is still the goat
@STARWARFAN1 so the inclusion of aang is the only reason you place this fight above the other fights that factually have more merit? is the inclusion of aang enough to completely disregard the animation, choreography, cinematography, etc of the other many fights.
Also with your edits. all of that is solid, but is any of that superior to the objectively better choreography, duration, animation and other components that the many other fights have?
Korra is annoying and unlikeable so I'd glady remove her
@MegalonIsAwesome2004 what did you find annoying? also how do you find korra unlikable? she has plenty to like and is generally liked by the majority of the fandom (not saying you have to, but I'm curious to why you don't)
Also in removing korra, how would that change the story? would it not be better to simply remove moments of her being annoying or change them? possibly make her more likable rather than removing her entirely
she's really immature and overconfident, and she got all her bending handed to her on a silver platter (except air, of course) she had basically nos truggle a large chunk of her life, so no traumatic events to constitute real character development. It seems at times they try to make her funny, but they just can't. The only thing I liked about Korra was her fight with Unalaq, that was one of the best choreographed fights in the Avatar franchise.
What do you think?
