Cactus Juice was a really funny part of the episode "The Desert" but should this stuff ever be seen again in Avatar?
Would it be interesting if someone got high and hallucinated on Cactus Juice in Korra's Era or sometime in the future of Avatar?
I don't imagine they would add it nowadays because of their larger audience and cactus juice being a hallucinogen, but if they do, I imagine it goes something like:
Cactus juice being a hallucinogen which is traded in the undercity in like early republic city or korra's era all the way till like cyberpunk earth avatar's era.
Of course. It's the quenchiest
I could see it making a cameo of sorts in one of the comics like a sign in the back saying "Do NOT Drink Cactus Juice" or something to also acknowledge the fact its a hallucinogen.
from going through this site's page for cactus juice, it seemed to exist during time setting of a game. currently not sure on exact time setting nor on whether mention or physical appearance; smugglers stocking up on it in Republic City underground.
it still existing or not during the time setting of the new series would pretty much depend on whether the plant still grows.
if world's population increases, it would be likely for various formerly unpopulated places to become populated and any plants at the newly populated places would likely be taken out before respective buildings are built.
I'd imagine illegal "cactus farms" being a thing; Mainly waterbenders would aquire seeds through a black market.
Yeah it would be crazy to see everyone chillin with ice cold cactus juice 😆
about chilling; not sure if that would be accurate. if I recall correctly, the first effects came shortly after drinking it.
about seeds from a black market; possibly not just waterbenders to get the seeds and/or to grow the plants.
Drink cactus juice! It’ll quench ya! It’s the quenchiest!
for comedic purposes, yes!
What do you think?
