@OmegAlfa2002 they are never undoing the open portals thing. It’s probably going to be Korra’s biggest legacy, and they’re not going to throw that away.

Spirits get angry due to advances in technology, but not technology like we have (Phones, AI, Games) maybe things that would only work in an avatar based world, maybe bending enhancing devices? Plus the basic industrial stuff and environmental destruction that would cause all the spirit problems

Roku had trouble learning Water, Aang had trouble learning Earth. Yet Kyoshi 2.0 learned it very fast.

Why shouldn’t it be easy for Korra, Firebending is about passion, energy, and being headstrong. That’s what Korra is, she should be better at fire than water. It’s more than just some ancient elemental connection bc bending is more than just a magic system, it’s a martial art, that like real martial arts is about discipline
