Well Lord Zuko did send word to Lin that Avatar Korra needed to be protected, so she most likely went to Air Temple Island as that’s where Korra resides. She finds that Korra isn’t there and is probably told by Pema or someone else that Korra and the others are traveling the Earth Kingdom on the way to Ba Sing Se to search for new airbenders as that was mentioned before.
