5 year old Korra knowing 3 elements isn’t realistic, but that doesn't matter. In a show, the most important thing is telling the story, even of that sometimes mean logic must be thrown to the wind.
That scene is the PERFECT introduction for Korra as a character. It shows her aggressive personality, her talent and physical bending, her lack of patience, and her excitement for being the avatar. All that comes across in just a few seconds. I don’t care if it doesn’t make sense.
A lot of benders can bend their element at a young age but mastering it is a different story. Korra needed 13 years to master 3 elements and with every element she masters, she masters the next quicker which is why she mastered Airbending 6 months after learning it. She always struggled with Airbending because she was never able to use it. It's explained that it was because of her personality and that she wasn't spiritually connected enough to use Airbending. That wall was removed and therefore she uses Airbending.
She should've had just Earth or Fire to make more sense, as she was water tribe
Also effortlessly gaining water fire and Earthbending at 4 has everything to do with the lack of time and effort training

It seemed like I needed to repeat that.
It doesn't show us when she started training, nor how long it took to actually master them, just when her teachers were satisfied. She learns too easily.
Yeah, it's called a prodigy. And like I said, 13 years.
Where does it say she trained for 13 years
I didn't say she trained for 13 years, I said it took her 13 years to master 3 Elements after learning them.
@MegalonIsAwesome2004 She did not have a lack of training. Her entire life until 17 (to some extent) was spent with training, practice, and tests with the white lotus. And it was clearly implied that she practiced airbending basically everyday.
And to compare the starting results of how she tried airbending on the first day, with how she airbends after months of practice seems hardly fair.
Also you're saying she got airbending immeadiatly like she was walking randomly one day and started airbending. No. She was bloodbent away all of her elements, and clearly a change took place, perhaps it was her body realizing the danger and acting, or something else, I honestly dont know, but something clearly did happen.
The only thing worth mentioning is that lots of her training was off screen, as the plot wasnt similar to the Atla plot and the training the creators felt prolly wasnt beneficial to the plot. I do agree more of her training could have been shown, instead of creating love drama, but that doesnt mean she didnt train.
Separate point directed at the main post; whats with the hate to Iroh II for having zuko's voice. This tends to happen in families quite often. And having saying "why couldnt he have some cool fire breath" hardly seems like a point of criticism.
1. Her introduction we fine bro, leave it alone.
2. Good idea, poor execution. Also the whole love triangle thing is just..No..
3. I feel her intro was pretty alright, funny even.
4. No, honestly no.
5. Why though? This is supposed to show the new airbenders in action, plus of course its goofy! It's a damn Nickelodeon show!
6.The fact you would dare to replace the absolute LEGEND that is Dante Basco, sickens me. The Dragon Breath idea is the only positive I've seen so far.
7. This one I kinda agree with honestly, was kinda stupid, but I feel this was needed for some character dev.
8. Not really, it was kinda like a Majin Vegeta thing. Noble but unsuccessful.
9. Don't hate on Naga, the writers wanted to show that she wasn't just some standby extra. She needed to fill Appa's shoes, and she was being shown that she was worthy of them. All 6.
10. Dude, her dad was fat and un-athletic at the time. Based off his age, he probably had heart problems as well. Asami is fast and strong, nobody wants to see a one sided beat down. She probably also wouldn't have the guts to do it.
11. Do you just not like character moments? This was to show she actually could Air Bend, plus if she did go into the Avatar State, The hell is she gonna do? She can't use any of her bending!
12. One name, IZUMI
13. So, Ozai could've just said: "Man, I guess I really lost.." And got his bending back????????
What do you think?
