Hello everyone.
With the new Netflix live action series coming on Thursday, I wanted to make this post to establish some guidelines on how new information and spoilers from the series will be considered on the wiki. The intention of this is to ensure that everyone can enjoy the new series in their own way, free from intentionally being spoiled, while still allowing space for discussion to happen and for the wiki to continue to expand as an encyclopaedia. This post will also serve as an avenue to ask any questions you might have, so feel free to comment them below.
Wiki articles:
Once the new episodes are released, any information from these episodes can be added to the wiki
On wiki articles, this information will NOT be hidden behind any spoiler tags
Articles for characters, locations, episodes etc. from the live action series will have new articles in the Netflix: namespace (e.g. https://avatar.fandom.com/wiki/Netflix:Iroh)
If you view any of these articles, you should expect to be spoiled. It is therefore up to you to manage this
Discussions:
Once the new episodes are released, posts discussing anything from these episodes can be made
Any Discussion posts on the new series should be added to the "Netflix series" category. This includes posts that might fall under other categories, such as "Polls" or "Theories"
Direct spoilers should NOT be included in the titles of any posts
Any posts which include spoilers in the title will be immediately deleted
If you are discussing something from a specific episode, it is encouraged to include the episode name or number in the title
Spoilers can be included within the text of the post itself
These guidelines will apply until the end of March, at which point the requirements will begin to be relaxed
The mod team will do our best to ensure that these guidelines are followed and to prevent spoilers from being revealed. However, as you can understand there will be a significant increase in the amount of posts at that time, and so we cannot guarantee something will not slip through. You can help us therefore by reporting any posts that you feel are not following these guidelines, and we can take suitable action.

Thank you for reading, as I said if you have any questions feel free to ask them below.
