It is possible. Even likely. But, it most likely is in the Spirit World. It was the Moon and Ocean Spirits that left for the Human World. The Sun Spirit likely stayed.

Makes sense to me. When Jeong Jeong talks about the sun, it’s almost as if he’s personifying it, which to me suggests that there exists a sun spirit. Also, the sun seems like to great of a natural force not to have a spirit associated with it.

That's where I stop thinking about spirit stuff. logic stands to reason that if there is a spirit for the moon, there should be a spirit for the sun at least, if not every celestial body. if there is a spirit for the ocean there should be a spirit for the sky and earth.

We already know hei bai is a forest spirit but there it is again. is there a desert spirit, swamp spirit, volcano spirit? that is why I stop thinking about spirit stuff, because its a borderline plothole if not just a huge mystery in the lore.

Still love this show and its worldbuilding but everything having to do with spirits is so complex it uninterests me from stress alone.
