Going off aang book 3 and korra book 4. I'd defintirly say korra wins by a Longshot like unpopular opinion aang didn't master 4 elements by the end of the show he only mastered air, slightly skilled in earth and water and a novice firebender while korra actually master earth, water and fire and was skilled at air.

Also korra is a superior fighter while aang primarily relies on his airbending to fight korra is a proficient fighter with and without bending. Like for instance when aang fights zuko or azula they get 1 hit and he goes down while korra takes constant hits and gets back up quick.

Y’all are crazy. Aang was 12 when he defeated the most ruthless bender in the whole world, mastering the spiritual art of chi locking/unlocking and energy bending. He didn’t receive any lessons from the lion turtle. He mastered it himself in a day. Korra was exposed to the spirit world, given the tree of time, an immense light spirit boost with Jinora and training from her later enemy unalaq. She also knew how to bend her own spiritual energy already through Aang being her past life. When she bended the energy inside herself and used the spirit portal and the tree of time to become giant, she was not becoming the most powerful spirit in the universe. She was using cosmic energy and the resources given to her through OTHER people combined with dedication to her true self. Something we’ve seen from Aang on a MUCH larger scale before. Not to mention unalaq having taught Korra in the ways of everything spiritual and how to redirect spiritual energy and literally purify dark spirits through ritualistic techniques previously assumed to be lost to time. If Aang was equipped with this kind of teaching, resources, mentors, spiritual boosts, exposure to powerful sprit gates, meditation under the tree of time, and 18 years to perfect his already extremely powerful bending and otherworld powers, he would kick Korras sorry ass.

Past lives and Raava weren't with Korra at that moment. Korra did that on her own without any previous knowledge. And if we go by that logic Katara, Toph and Zuko were the ones who thought Aang, so that means they are responsible because he beated Ozai, right? And Brian Konieztko once confirmed that Korra is the most powerful Avatar and that she would beat Aang's sorry ass.

Too bad they did a bad job of spreading the message that Korra is most powerful. The show was a flop, and although I enjoyed it, other people repeatedly tell me they don’t like the show because Korra is either weak or “annoying”.

Korra is neither of that. She's She is the most powerful, beautiful, best, badass, funniest, bravest, strongest, cutest girl and character ever!!! She's changed my childhood and life forever!!!!!💙✨🌊🔥 That's why l love her and why will l always defend her! AANG WOULD WIN GUYS, First off, Aang a 12 YEAR OLD was able to beat (at the time) the most powerful bender in the world. He also, is very creative with his fights. Like for example, he decided to bend Ozai's energy to take his bending away rather than killing him. Also, Aang had to learn Water, Earth, and Fire on his OWN. Korra on the other hand, was born with the ability to bend Water, Earth, and Fire and only had to learn Air, So she got off pretty easy. Aang also has the right friends to. I know Korra has friends but Aang has friends who have mastered every element including himself. Plus, Aang is an awesome goofy ahh kid who is definitely more loved than Korra. Finally, Aang was wise he wasn't a monkey that broke the AVATAR CYCLE!!!!
