The Ba Sing Se Times is excited to announce that Janet Varney will be answering fan questions for our next newsletter issue. We'll be taking questions directly from the community, so be sure to comment on this post if you want a chance for her to answer yours!

Hey Janet! I really enjoyed your performance as Korra. Korra herself has meant a lot to me as a protagonist and is one of my favorite characters of all time.

Did you have any inspirations when voicing Korra, whether that be voice actors or actors?

Was there any particular scene or storyline that you really enjoyed voice acting or, conversely, one you found particularly challenging?

Now that Korra and her era are getting expanded on in new material like the comics and the TTRPG, is there a particular new format/mediums you'd like to see Korra in? Are there any particular Korra-related storylines you'd like to see?

Whats up with Aangs parents? I realize they must have died in the war and he was raised by monks, but I don’t think they’ve ever been mentioned. Korras parents were so central to the plot, where’s Aangs parents? So curious how they’ve influenced his journey!

Would it be cool if there was an LOK episode where we meet Ty Lee, who is still alive after the events of the ATLA series and is raising a family as well as the son of Suki, who was killed and abandoned him when he was an infant.
