So, I know that guns (at least more modern or bullet-shooting guns) have yet to be invented in the world of avatars. However, would they ever be? Since metal benders are so abundant now the majority of guns would be useless unless using platinum which would get expensive quickly.

So would there be any point in them? More so would they ever be used? Another question being would metalbender or non-bender police use them?
