Neither does Earth or Air. Air might be spiritual but there's no "spirit" like the Moon is.

Ik but im asking your thought on who the original benders are, spirits lion turtles or the animals (also im asking what do you think the spirits are? (if there are any for earth fire and air))

Lol this post was a flop

The original benders were the moon, badgermoles, dragons and sky bison. The lion turtles granted people the temporary ability to bend- they didn’t show people how to weild it. I don’t think we know the whole picture, but my head canon is that people ‘forgot’ they had the ability to bend, so the gene lay dormant for a while. Then as time progressed and people tried to copy the original benders, they realised some could actually bend.
