WARNING! THERE ARE SPOILERS FOR THE MOVIE SHANE! I don't know if you guys would want to watch it though...its and old western movie.
If you love cowboy movies, then you know what I am talking about. 1953 "Shane". Also, when you are reading this, you will see that I will point out things like "Doesn't that remind you of Zuko Alone", and I am really really sorry if it is annoying. I just rewatched the entire thing, and I realized it was SO much like Zuko alone, I am pretty sure the writers who created "Zuko Alone", got their idea from SHANE, and copied multiple aspects of the movie. So, here are the things I found similar:
During the Civil War in the USA, a mysterious man calling himself "Shane" finds himself in a village, with a past unknown. Doesn't that remind you of Zuko? He is hired by a farmer, who lives with his wife and 9 year old son. Doesn't that remind you of family who lives on a farm, in Zuko alone? Apparently, a man and his henchmen are trying to force the family out of their home, even though the law states that the family can stay. The crooks in Shane basically run the town in fear. Remember when they were trying to drag that boy out to war, I mean it's different, but still...doesn't that kind of remind you of Zuko alone? When Shane goes out to buy things, he gets taunted by those crooks who are trying to force the family out of the land. But Shane ignores them. Remember when Zuko buys the chicken and gets harassed by those earthbenders? Doesn't that remind of of Zuko Alone? The crooks want to fight Shane. Blah blah blah, Shane has a strong connection to the young boy, Joey, but Shane still remains mysetrious, and continues to work on the farm. It's a lot like Zuko and the young boy, isn't it? Then there is a fight between him and the crooks, who he ultimately wins although it is like 5 against one. Like that big battle between Zuko and the earthbenders? Then Shane leaves, and rides into the sunset. Remember when Zuko was riding into the sunset at the end of the episode?
