Hello everybody. My ship tonight is Senraq.

Senraq is the ship between Tonraq and Senna. It is alternatively known as Tonna.

Tonraq met Senna after his banishment from the Northern Water Tribe when he settled in the South Pole. They eventually fell in love and got married. Tonraq and Senna desired a simple life. However, their daughter Korra was discovered to be the next Avatar. This ended their goal of a simple life but they still loved their daughter and were happy together. Senna was devastated when Tonraq was sentenced to life in prison but Korra ended up busting him after learning that Unalaq staged everything. They now live in the palace together as Tonraq has become the chief of the Southern Water Tribe.

Senraq is a ship that I have been on board with from the start. Korra is my favorite Legend of Korra character and we would not have her without them. This pairing intrigued me even more when we learned that Tonraq was originally from the Northern Water Tribe. I like the idea of a romance between people from the two tribes, as the only two we saw (Sokka/Yue and Kuruk/Ummi) ended up with one of them dying. The time that Tonraq and Senna got together was also when tensions were growing between the tribes.

I welcome all opinions on Senraq as well as other pairings involving Tonraq and Senna but please do keep comments constructive.
