I have to say that Darth Sidious is pretty skilled at fighting with his light saber. Not just the force.

Lol, I'm sorry but this poll is WAAAAAYYYY too close. Honestly, this poll is disrespectful to Sidious. She is NOTHING compared to him. Whoever posted it does not understand Star Wars. Sidious would easily demolish everyone in Avatar. He can take out a fleet using the force, come on now.

Someone like Bane, Zannah, Plageius, Sion, and Nihilus which are around his tier would also wreck Azula. Nihilus would kill everyone in the Avatar universe via force drain. Zannah would feed on Azula's mind and analyze her emotional conflict. Then Zannah would use it to break her into insanity and immediately kill her.

Bane was so good that he swung his saber around during a day that it was raining heavily and remained completely dry (crazy deep and precision). Bane was so good that he collapsed a massive temple with a redirected force push.

Sion would eat all of her attacks then just run through her. He literally cannot die unless he gets beat up so bad or is emotionally conflicted and wills his death. Sion's skill is comparable to someone like Maul so he will be beating Azula up anyway.

Heck, someone like Vader, Dooku, Maul. Revan, and Malak one tiers below Sidious stomps Azula. Maul has superior strength to humans and is faster because of his race alone but is also faster like all force sensitives. Maul has defeated people like Qui Gon and contended with people like Kenobi who would also demolish Azula.

Revan has taken down entire armies. He has taken down an entire Sith Academy full of warriors and apprentices. He has beaten Mandalore the Ultimate who has superior speed, strength, experience, and resolve to almost anyone in Avatar. He beat Yussanis or whatever the legendary Echanti duelist's name was with remarkable speed and reflexes. He beat Calo Nord who would be more of a match for Azula and he also beat Darth Bandon and Darth Bastilla who would also beat Azula. He beat Uthar, who had legendary dueling and force skills.

Revan cleaned out several sith bases and temples. Revan took down countless Mandalorian super soldiers. Revan beat the legendary Mandalorian duelist Bendeck Starkiller without even using the force. Mandalorians at this time used strength, stamina, and speed enhancements. Revan took down the One's army of Rakatan duelists and tiny rancor creatures.

Vader has incredible defense and would block all of Azula's attacks with ease. There is a high chance he just force dominates her with a choke and throws her around instead of even fighting her. Vader is slower than most sith lords, yet still faster than most people. He is also a total tank and will eat any shot that Azula brings to him.

But Azula won't land much. Sometimes Vader takes hits on purpose just so he can fuel his rage which amps his strength and stamina. He also may allow an opponent to hit him if they are open or exposed and then quickly swarm and kill his opponent. It has worked vs hundreds of jedi including many that would have spanked Azula.

He was beating Rebels Ahsoka, Eeth Koth, and so many others who would have soundly defeated Azula. Azula would not even beat Kanan (who is only a slightly above average jedi knight). A 16 year old Ezra probably beats her. Especially if these jedi fight her a second time and get used to her style and analyze their glaring force strengths over her.

Malak was more powerful than everyone Revan fought by far (at least in Kotor). He was beating Revan the first time they clashed and he owned Bastilla. Bastilla was a legendary duelist known for her remarkable speed, reflexes, and adaptability.

Dooku also embarrasses her. Dooku beat a jedi knight Obi Wan (who was still a top level knight who would have owned Azula) and a young Anakin (who would have slaughtered Azula unless she got a quick win using her wits) at the same time. This Anakin was still more powerful than most jedi masters and was the chosen one. He still protected Padme in the Geonosis arena and survived a battle where 200 jedi (mostly knights) came to his rescue yet only about 12-14 survived (can't remember which number).

Anakin had more raw power than Kenobi already, but less control. He was like Zuko except faster and with force abilities that would ruin her day (redirect her lightning, force choke her if enraged, force push her fire right back into her, force pull her into his saber, and force throw her or slam her into something). Kenobi would have toyed with her.

Kenobi has much better technical skills and would easily balance out her attacks the way Zuko did. Look how he schooled Ventress in TCW movie shortly after AOTC. Look how he fought Durge in legends. Dooku also went to toe with YOda who is faster than Azula and would slice her to ribbons. Yoda would dodge all of Azula's attacks with ease and beat her up unarmed. Yoda's force powers easily cancel out everything Azula throws at him and Yoda easily beats up everyone in Avatar.

Dooku took on Quinlan Vos and Ventress at the same time. Vos was a gifted jedi master and he had slaughtered several armies of clones and whooped Grievous in battle. Grievous is faster, more of a tank than, and has better reflexes than Azula. The only way Azula beats him (even if unarmed) is by outsmarting him or with her lightning and even her lightning is not a reliable way to win (because it is so telegraphed and he will almost ALWAYS dodge it or close the distance and cut her down before she can strike him).

Sith Lords like Dooku, Bane, Sidious, Malak, Zannah, Exar Kun, Naga Shadow, and Talon all fire their lightning more quickly than Azula. They can do it instantly instead of in 3 wind up seconds. Though it deals less damage, it is also nearly impossible to dodge. The range of these strikes is much greater and they hit force sensitive with it who have sabers to block lightning strikes. So Azula will get shocked just about every time against any high level sith.

I just want to add that Exar Kun and Naga Shadow would also demolish Azula. Especially Exar Kun.

Ventress has taken on two jedi masters at once (Secura and Luminara, Fisto and Plo Koon, Anakin and Kenobi). She was beating up Anakin at Kamino and demolished Grievous on Dathomir (but was amped there). She went toe to toe with Vos and she killed several jedi masters in combat.

Fisto would whoop Azula. Just like how he whooped Grievous (the guy with 4 arms who is way faster, stronger, and more durable than Azula) and beat Episode 2 era Kenobi in sparring. But look what Sidious did to him, lol. Plo Koon would toy with Azula like Obi Wan. Secura would beat Azula too and she's not even THAT good. Azula could beat Luminara because she sucks, but I can't even guarantee that. She'd have to close the distance on Luminara and make it a fist fight. Avoid relying on powers because any ok jedi will easily counter that.

Note that all these guys have WAY more combat experience than Azula does. And experience is everything. Azula is like a skilled amateur mma fighter going against professional mma champions. It's a total beatdown.

Azula is comparable to Ventress and Darth Talon level. Those are fights that would be closer. But Ventress and Talon would still win. First, they have lightsabers and would slice her to pieces in close range. Second, they could literally just force grip her and pull her into their lightsabers. Third, they could just force choke her to death. Fourth, if Azula tries to strike them with lightning then it will be telegraphed and they will just use the force to redirect the lightning back into her. Fifth, they both have more battle experience than Azula does.

So really Ventress or Darth Talon vs Azula is only somewhat close if it's in hand to hand but, even then she loses. And Ventress and Talon are both very skilled in hand to hand. Azula wouldn't even beat Grievous. Durge would slaughter her.

Now if Azula was force sensitive she would be near Ventress and Talon level considering their feats. So that is 3rd tier and 2 levels below Sidious. Sidious would beat a force sensitive Azula and Zuko at the same time.

A more fair fight would be Azula vs Jango Fett, Calo Nord, Boba Fett, Aurra Sing, Embo, IG-88, Suki, and Boosk.

Azula is an insect compared to any decent sith lord. Most good sith warriors and assassins beat her. Most great jedi knights and masters also beat her. She can beat some generic sith warriors, jedi knights, and masters but that's as good as it gets for her.

Now, I'll tell ya what. A force sensitive jedi master Iroh vs Sidious would be a good fight.

I'm always happy to see an Avatar-Star Wars crossover post. While I think Palpatine would win since he is an extremely strong Force user and lightsaber combatant, Azula is also incredibly powerful and skilled. In my opinion, it would be a difficult fight even if Palps would win. Also, if he had to fight Iroh, Azula and Ozai, I think he would lose. While he could use the Force very quickly, they could also firebend instantly and they would outnumber him.
