As we all know Ozai named Azula after her grandfather Azulon, but why did the creators of Avatar: The Last Airbender decide to give her the name Azula? Well in school I learned in spanish class that blue in Spanish is azul, and Azula is well known for her blue fire. So what my theory is that the creators named her for her blue fire, but just added an “a” at the end. So that is how I think the creators came up with the name Azula, please feel free to write what you think in the comments.
