Lavabending is more dangerous and can melt metal probably

Lava is usually at around 200°C I'd rather have metal shards that could easily miss me fly towards my face than fight a lavabender who could literally just send me straight to the bottom of a lava puddle without even trying.

Metalbending is cool but lavabending is stronger
