I think he had kids, they just decided not to explore what happened to ATLA characters too much in lok, and focus on korra and her journey instead

I think that tokka happened but Suyin and Lin wold be his kids

If Lin was his kid I'd be mightily worried since she dated Tenzin. Su I could see being his daughter but not Lin, she doesn't have the right features to be Sokka's daughter

What I think is

1. Sukka happened and they had Varrick's mom bc sokka and varrick have some similarities; they are the idea ppl, they r southern water tribe etc. Also Varrick's mom would have to be Sokka's kid if Sokka and Varrick are related because Varrick is too young to be Sokka's son.

2. I think Tokka happened after Sukka and then Toph and Sokka had Su. I actually believed this one and wanted it to be true for a long time.

3. Another possibility after Sukka happened and Sokka had Varrick's mom is that Baatar Sr is his son. They share many facial similarities. Plus they are both engineers. Also, another possibility is that if Baatar Sr is Sokka's son and Varrick's mom is Sokka's daughter, then Varrick would be Baatar's nephew and that would explain why they let Varrick stay at their house in ba Sing Se. That or Varrick bribed them by saying he''l make new inventions for the city.

I think that Tokka happened at one point, but Toph and Sokka didn’t get married or have kids. But I like thinking that Su is Sokka kid, I just wish she had a sokka/toph personality because that would be AMAZING!
