Ok I just did some number crunching and taking into account that together Aang and Kyoshi most likely take up 4% of the entire avatar lineage the range 100-150 range is most probable (taking into the account of cases such as kuruk and kyoshi)- @Shingeki no Ymir i see your point now-
^^ if you add on Yangchen, Roku & Szeto’s Predacessor that’s roughly 8%.
@Got em TwT no offence but your answer really isn’t reasonable, if you did the math then you would realise that it’s way too high of an avatar count, even 1000 is too high, for there to be 1000 avatars then most avatar’s would of had too of died at roughly 10 years old, and how unlikely is it that every avatar dies at 10 years old, Yangchen, Kyoshi & Aang all lives 150+ years old. Roku & Szeto’s Predacessor where old when they died, when you see the avatar cycle in the scene where Korra’s bending is restored every single avatar is an adult. So 1000+ avatars is impossible, so your answer is far beyond unreasonable, again no offence.
10000 divided by 100 is 100. So assuming that the normal age is 100, then around 100. However, some died much earlier, and others later. So I would say between 90 and 120.
Any number between 1,000 and 1,250. Since avatars differed in age and there were 10,000 years between harmonic convergences it leaves room for 1,000 100 yr. old avatars, but the 1,250 allows for fluctuations in age.
