<p>When she arrives at Zaofu, she doesn't know where Suyin is. This is impossible if she can sense everything that goes on from Republic City to Zaofu. Plus the sheer absurdity that she could sense such minute things over that distance to begin with, which would be orders of magnitude above every other bending feat we ever see, including Toph's other feats. </p><p>If I think of something, I'll mention it, but I don't like to just make up random absurd shit like "I bet they can turn into rocks!" or whatever. </p>

<p>Toph's seismic sense was accurate enough to count ants in the dark at a distance before developing metalbending. The spirit tree not only transfer vibration, but spiritually amplifies benders. As a child toph was one of the greatest non avatar benders of her time, I think largely due to her personality and element pairing. That being said, she was the least spiritually inclined of the team. </p><p>To answer the topic tho, I would assume a spiritual earthbending technique would afford the user the properties of the element itself, by 'becoming the earth' they would get higher physical durability. Ultimate defense or some shit. I think that'd be cool, thoughts? </p>

<p>Earth is the stubborn element, Air is Freedom, Earthbenders aren't that spirtual as Water or Airbenders (Toph) </p>

<p>In my fanfiction, I thought of making something like, "Diamondbending"? I KNOW that in "The Crossroads of Destity" (Book Two Earth finale) Aang earthbent himself a crystal/diamond armor (it's not confirmed if it was really diamond but let's call it diamond to avoid misundertandings). </p><p>As you might have realized, earthbending and metalbending have their limits when trying to bend Platinum. What I thought is: "Are there any "spiritual rocks/crystals" that aren't too ordinary to band or anything like that?" </p><p>Maybe this could open another threat, but: What IS earth, is it made of? What does earth have to chemically be made of to be bended? Silicium? Aluminium? Iron? I guess that iron for sure, since Toph's students could metalbend General IRON's armor in <i>The Rift</i>. </p><p>My point is, there might be an "earthbendable" or "metalbendable" element in the Spirit World or something like that, it could be interesting. </p>

<p>How about Spiritual Construction. Like when Airbenders project their spirit outside their bodies, really good Earthbenders who have the greatest understanding neutral jinn are able to project their spirit through the earth and create an external body from it. Like creating and controlling a golem. The could probably make it from metal and lava too if they are able to bend those elements. The weakness being both bodies must touch the ground and the user becomes completely inert until returned to their bodies.  </p>
