ALL POSTSAre Tui & La the Great Spirits the Oldest in the Avatar-Verse?!
<p>I know this sounds dumb but hear me out.
</p><p>First thing first is how Ko the face stealer mentions Tui/La Spirits have been here since the beginning! and we all know how the "real world concepts theory" of how the earth formed so does that mean Tui and La were here since before the creation of earth? But Raava/Vaatu say they been here since before mankind. And Raava seems to imply the Great Lion Turles were ancient. so the lion turles seem to exist even before Raava/Vaatu time. So with all this in the factor then the Tui and La are the oldest spirits! And this might go without saying but ARE THEY BEYOND ANCIENT?!!! Hmmmm maybe Wan Shi Tong may know this answer better.

It's possible that the Lion Turtle that Aang saw is still alive in LoK.

<p>I didn't find anything about the Lion Turtles just being animals or about Raava and Vaatu emerging from the Tree of Time, so either I'm terribly bad at checking the art book or someone is just making stuff up and adding into the wiki.

</p><p>Though I have actually seen the scans saying that Raavaatu emerged from the Tree of Time. Now if I could find the user who showed it to me, that'd be great.
</p><p>Searches aren't turning anything up, but I recall they used an image of planet earth as their display picture, I think their name was "Intelligence91" or something like that, & I know they wrote some kind of blog about the Avatar Cycle.

<p>For lion turtles, pg 164 of the ATLA art book: "The lion-turtle is the oldest creature in the Avatar world, from a time that predates the Avatar and bending." I have to preface this quote with the printing date of the artbook, 2010.
</p><p>For Raava, Vaatu, and the Tree of Time, you can find it on page 118.
