ALL POSTSAang vs Korra's villains
<p>Who do you think had the tougher opponents to fight against, and why?
</p><p>Aang's villains:
</p><p>- Ozai (comet enhanced)
</p><p>- Azula (with Ty Lee, Mai?)
</p><p>- Long Feng (+ Dai Li)
</p><p>- Combustion Man
</p><p>Korra's villains:
</p><p>- UnaVaatu
</p><p>- Zaheer (+ P'li, Ghazan, Ming-Hua)
</p><p>- Amon
</p><p>- Kuvira
</p><p>Personally, I feel as though Aang's opponents are tougher. Ozai is easily the strongest opponent, and especially after seeing Azula in Smoke and Shadow, she proves to be one of the toughest opponents I've seen an Avatar fight. If we're going to pit the villains against each other to see who's the toughest, I see Aang's opponents come out on top

<p>I'll likely respond in full sometime tomorrow, but here's something to think about: If you're just pitting Aang's enemies against Korra's in a random fight, Amon would be pretty likely to end it fairly quickly by bloodbending then de-bending Aang's foes almost right off the bat.
</p><p>Also, if Kurvira's "Colossus" mech were allowed, Aang's foes would have no answer for it.

<p>I say the best ATLA villains are Azula/Mai/Ty Lee, and the best TLoK villains are the Red Lotus.

<p>The question was not only villains vs villains, but also how the Avatar would fare against them. Aang in the Avatar State disposed of Yakone in seconds. Amon wouldn't pose any more of a threat. </p><p>We've seen that Korra can bend through Amon's grip. You're saying that benders far more powerful than Korra couldn't do that? </p>

<p>"Who is the tougher foe to fight against" & "who would the Avatar fare better against" are not really the same question & your Yakone example shows why.
</p><p>Aang beat Yakone specifically because the Avatar State has the ability to No Sell Bloodbending, it's not so much "winning a fight" as "making a fight impossible." Yakone had no other sources of water, so he was physically incapable of fighting back at that point. No shit Aang beat a defenseless old man.
</p><p>Trying to claim that Korra "doesn't know how to fight properly" is even sillier, because she actually DOES defeat Amon through sheer fighting skill.
</p><p>Also, this doesn't address how the fuck Ozai is stronger than a giant immortal spirit monster who can basically control the sea & shoot death beams, or the Colossus as someone else mentioned.
