<p>Personally, I think a reboot would be in place, and if so, the series would be more kid friendly and action oriented with a blend of comedy. I mean, the original production staff broke up, so I think a reboot would be more likely if a new series was ever conceived. Legend of Korra did it's part in addressing serious issues, so now I think it's time to make something new and fresh to appeal to the kids. Personally, I think the franchise stopped being kid friendly a LONG time ago, even before Book 3. </p>

<p>It'd probably end up being the "Teen Titans Go!" of the Avatar franchise, so I'm not very supportive of that idea. I feel that bringing back the original Avatar gang for some willy nilly adventures and slapstick comedy would discredit the original series. However, I wouldn't mind a mini-series that follows Avatar and Co. into their adulthood and shows the construction of Republic City. </p>

However, I wouldn't mind a mini-series that follows Avatar and Co. into their adulthood and shows the construction of Republic City. </p> </div> <p>You're kinda exaggerating, I wouldn't  want a reboot that is like Teen Titans Go!.  I'm thinking a reboot that has an acceptable amount of comedy, but is more action oriented--which means more missions, more exciting action sequences.  So no, it wouldn't be "Willy Nilly".  It would be a more light-hearted tone more along the line of "Avengers Assemble".  Heck, I'd even throw in a more thrilling opening theme that's of the same flavor as that of "Justice League" and "Justice League Unlimited" (no, I don't mean the same tune).  I mean, I just feel the drama and serious tone outpaced the action.   </p>

I don't want to see an Earth Avatar series if they can't do it as well as they did Aang and Korra's stories.  </p><p>The thing is, Avatar is popular for the people who grew up watching Avatar. If they did another series, it'd be darker if anything. The people who grew up watching Avatar were in their young years as kids, and most of Korra's fanbase was the teenagers who watched Avatar as a kid.  </p>

<p>I think the next Avatar series should take place 10,000 years later, and show how the Avatar struggles with Vaatu's growing influence. </p>

<p>No, that's why I think a reboot is more possible than a continuation, because people grew up watching Aang, and Aang is more popular because people knew him longer than Korra. No matter what, for most people, Aang will always remain the central hero of the franchise. </p>

That would be pretty cool. Every Avatar we've seen (At least up until 2nd season Korra) has been bonded with Raava alone, as Vaatu has been locked up. But with the two diametric spirits now united in a single host, things are different. Since it's only a few years since Vaatu's defeat, his influence is negligible. But ten millenia from now, he will be on equal terms with Raava, and the Avatar of that timer period will have to contend with the fact that he/she is now essentially a force of light AND dark, order AND chaos. </p>
