<p>Chakras are <i>nodes of energy flow</i>, often called "gates" through which Ki/Qi/Chi are channeled. Regardless of the type of bending, the same energy flow channels, nodes, gates must be opened. Ty Lee disrupted the bending of waterbenders (Katara), earthbenders (Ba Sing Se guards), firebenders (Azula), and she struck the same points regardlesss of the opponents. Plus disabling non-benders like Sokka. </p><p>By means of an analogy, the system of chi channels and chakra gates are like a system of pipes and valves. It doesn't care if it is full of air, dust, liquid, or whatever. It all will get routed to or blocked from the same places. </p><p>FYI, there are more than 7 chakras. Those are just the main/major gates *within* the body. In addition, there are "microgates" at each wrist, ankle, and distal phalanges (finger and toe tips), as well as centers of palms and soles. Furthermore, there are 5 <i>subpersonal</i> chakras <i>below</i> the feet, and 5 <i>transpersonal</i> chakras <i>above</i> the crown of the human head (although there is also a system of charting the chakra gate points by <i>respacing</i> them <i>inside</i> the human body, which is not widely accepted as that system does not line up with the "standard" 7 points). </p><p>I've heard there are a total of like 107 or so chakra gates, but have yet to find a source to name/locate them all. With what I've mentioned that accounts for a total of 45 (7 standard, 20 fingers & toes, 4 wrists & ankles, 4 palms & soles, 5 below foot, 5 above crown). LOL, no idea how thw system is affected if a person has extra digits... </p>

<p>There's a lot they can do in the fire nation. I'd put the whole issue of the warlord at the top of any list. However, the first question is what does this mean to the current characters? Going by a list like this and using the most likely: </p><p>Technology: This seems more likely in RC than the FN but it could easily allow for Asami to be in the picture rather than staying home and running her business. </p><p>Air benders in the FN: Feels like another Tenzin moment than anyone else's, but the writers really liked to do Tenzin stuff. Maybe we could finally get some answers to the problems of the current air bender nation like nonbender family or the acolytes. </p><p>Spirits: This could easily link Iroh and Zuko, which isn't a bad thing </p><p>Going back to the warlord issue. This idea could easily deal with a number of issues. First, actually talking about who this person was and why he was important. Secondly, it could be a character development story for FN character like Izumi, Iroh II, Zuko, and the FN princess. Lastly, the revelations about the warlord's actions. By that, I mean maybe having Iroh II as his son. </p>

<p>Might depend entirely on the plot of the next book. I'd imagine we spend time in RC (again) before heading out somewhere. If the target area is the EK, we might see that town with the girl that Meelo liked and other locations. I would love to see more scenic locations and landscapes that reminded us of the old EN. I'd mostly want to see post-Kuvira Ba Sing Se though. </p>

I'd like to see the Serpent's Pass.
