<p>I respect the opinion, but I completely disagree about Korra was only jealousy so she could be with Asami. Korra did in fact had real feelings for Mako. She wanted to be with Mako in episode 3 before Asami made her appearance in episode 4. Korra did find Mako very attarctive and did in fact develop a crush on him before Asami came into Mako's life. Korra never wanted to be with Mako "to be with Asami" Korra wanted to be with Mako becasue she like him. Asami had nothing to do with it. Yes Korra was jealousy of them because she wanted to go out with Mako. That's normal for anybody who had a crush on someone. She was jealousy of Asami because she was dating the guy she really like. Nothing about wanted to be with Asami, especially since she never develop an attarction toward women until in season 3. Korra never found any attraction toward Asami in Season One Air and Season 2 Spirtis. Legend of Korra was originally meant to be a one season show and Mike and Bryan wanted to create a one epic story. Which is why Mike and Bryan cram in so many things into one season, and Mako x Korra was meant to be the endgame in season 1. But all that change when Nick gave them more seasons. The entire Legend of Korra production had a lot of issues. All the romances (Makorra and Korrasami) was forced, most of the characters developments were pretty meh, and the stories in season 1 and 2 were either meh or bad.  </p>

It's easy for info to get miscommunicated or misunderstood in text. </p><p>I think it's important to remember that s1 really is a 'standalone' season. They didn't think they'd get any more. </p>

<p>@FRuipit That's fine. I'm still trying to figure out how to use the Wikia since I'm still new at it. Anyway, understandably Legend of Korra was meant to be a one season only. So in Mike and Bryan's defense I understand why they cram so many things into season 1, because they didn't expect to get more seasons. I will agree that Mako and Korra didn't have the best romance/pairing in season 1. But I will say Korra did in fact had actual feelings for him despite the bad writing. </p>

<p>The problem with Korra's "feelings for Mako" is they have very little to zero foundations. </p><p>Mako was like, literally the 3rd to 5th guy Korra met (depending on if you count the park hobo and Triad thugs) who was not one of her teachers or guards at the South Pole camp she was sequestered at for most of her life. </p><p>She meets this guy for like, 5 minutes and blurts out her feelings, "I love yous" and "I think we're meant to be together." </p><p>Which is virtually the same reason why *Frozen's* Elsa told Anna she could not marry Hans after only 1 day. </p><p>In other words, Korra is crushing on Mako. She doesn't have even the limited "high school" equivalent of life experience to know what she doesn't even know she needs to know about "feelings" and "love". </p>
