<p>I liked the series 100%. Obviously nothing beats Aang and the gang because they had the best character development and it was easier to relate to. In my opinion.
</p><p>Now the new series comes out and all the information anyone has on our previous friends and foes is in a bunch of comic books that you have to go and find.
</p><p>Legend of Korra starts and I'm sure a lot pf people were like okay this is different, it's way in the future, like my Grandparents could've been there tyoe future. Totally making me do math to see what the chances are of the Avatart being myself becase the time has gotten more modern.
</p><p>The series turned out pretty well, although the only characters I saw growth in honestly was Bolin, Kai, Tenzin, and his kids.
</p><p>Then we see Korra dating Bolin, then she goes to Mako, and Mako goes to Asami, then Mako back to Korra, and I'm like what the heck? Find new men for goodness sake.
</p><p>Then the red flags went off when Korra and Asami's 'heart to hearts' were all let's never let a guy come between us. I'm like okay, a little sentimental because Korra resembles a man to me.
</p><p>From day 1 Korra has acted like a butch man. So by the end of the series I was in shock and awe and honestly sad.
</p><p>I thought Asami and Korra should've been these strong independent women who didn't need a romantic interest. I mean that's how they left Mako.
</p><p>I saw Asami and Korra's friendship as best friends maybe even sisters, and because of stupid fans always wanting to ship television and for because of our American writiers always concerned about the people they shipped the stupid girls.
</p><p>Now let's be realistic, all the problems they've had with civil rights on this show and fighting for the right to bend.
</p><p>Korra and Asami are about to become the homo freedom fighters. Honestly, the bending society wanted to take away bending now the avatar pops up with a girl on her arm? It's unrealistic and I don't like it.
</p><p>Korra doesn't even like anything, she just likes power, Asami was aways just some pretty girl for everyone to look at and now they're a thing?
</p><p>I feel like the decision was made last night and completely throws everything off. The last seconds of the finale were the worst of the whol Avatar series.
</p><p>I have a right to state my opinion and I know I'm gonna get a lot of negativity but I don't care, I only made this to let out my emotions.
</p><p>I hope the writers do something creative with these comics and explain things more clearly. And I honestly hope they are just friends, really close, non intimate friends.

</p><p>Of course, they can't stay there forever. They get back to the mortal world. AAAnd All hell breaks loose. Has this world ever seen a homosexual relationship? They may be disturbed to the point of fear. Destroy the avatar, she's/it's now an abomination.

<p>So..you completely ignored anytype of romantic/non-romantic advancement their relationship had? If you think it just came out of no where, go rewatch Seasons 3 & 4. <p>Like I said, this is my opinion, I am entitled to feel the opposite of everyone's happiness. I literally created this so I could let out my feelings. I know 99.6% of everyone thought it was the best thing ever, I saw the adancement in their relationship, as friends. A part of me was like is this going a different direction, but my hope was that it was friendship. I don't know why you guys are acting so angry at my opinion, you all got what you wanted. I'm the one with the issue. I respectfully disagree with it. No need for rudeness. Freedom to state how I feel.

<p>No one was reacting angrily except the person above me. You have the freedom to state how you feel, but everyone else also has the freedom to react too it. That Freedom of Speech thing doesn't work on the internet, especially on private websites like this (I don't mean private like only a few people can get in, I mean like privately owned). You go by the sites rules. Not saying you broke any of them, just saying in general. </p><p>Also, why share the opinion if you KNOW it's going to get negative reactions and possibly start fights? I'm not saying you don't have the right to do such things, it just seems like it creates pointless negativity. </p>

<p>"homo freedom fighters?" Really? Anyway, what exactly is your issue with the ending? I didn't ship Korrasami either, but I don't really see a reason to oppose it. As someone else said, the signs of their relationship growing can be seen in the past seasons. Also, how can we really say this is unrealistic for the Avatar world when the issue has never even been addressed? As for the above post, yes, you have the right to your opinion, and they have the right to express their opinion of your opinion
