I get what you're saying. <p>Honestly, the ending made me sad but also laugh internally. You can blatantly tell that Bryke made the ending as ambiguous as possible just to troll the Korrasami shippers who wouldn't shut up. And for that, they all got an inconclusive, rushed, awkward ending. Honestly, I felt more chemistry in the scene with Mako and Korra since that's where the music first began to shift and her eyes emotionally shook. Though of course, the Korrasami shippers will completely overlook this and act like it didn't happen. The very fact that Tahno made a reappearance should've been enough to let people know that the entire ending scene was a rushed mess of fanservice. </p><p>Also according to a tumblr post, Bryke stated that the final scene was going to end with Korra and Asami walking into the portal and then panning up, and that the scene where they look at eachother wasn't added until later. I have no idea if this is true or not, but even if it isn't, it should'nt take too much time to realize how much of a possibility that is. </p><p>
</p><p>All in all, though, I loved the finale. The scene with Kuvira swinging around on the spirit energy canon was probably the coolest thing ever. I just really hope that the story will be continued in the form of comics; The ending was so rushed and riddled with fanservice that it almost felt...inconclusive. </p>

Kuvira didn't have that much of a backstory, it was only in this episode that we see her actually get emotional or really talk about her life. But I found that scene where Korra decides to stop fighting and just talk to Kuvira portray a another side of the Avatar, resolving conflicts as peacefully as possible. It was really nice seeing Korra being able to do that. But I also agree that it felt rushed and almost last minute. </p>

<p>Everything was fine for me until the last minute and a half. Did they really need to do that? Other than that everything was pretty cool. Varrick and Zhu Li did the thing, Hiroshi making the sacrifice play, not to mention the band made of Gang, Lu, the Wolfbats, Tarrlok's messenger, and Hasook. </p>

i thought mako was going to die. and a lot of ppl thought Korra was going to die in the book 4 finale.

<p>@Shadow Raptor__ For a moment when Korra began talking with Mako, I felt that they were going to reconnect. But then Bryke did the unexpected, leaving Mako effectively out of the love triangle. Fanservice, spot on!   </p>

<p>Just saw the ending and I think is awesome in my opinion. I was expecting Korra to take away Kuvira's bending away but that didn't happen, little disappointing but still great. I also love the Varrick and Zhu Li big scene. I really think Mike and Bryan out did themselves finishing off Korra's story. I love both Legend of Aang and Legend of Korra in their own way. I will admit, since the first season I hated Mako, dislike Korra, okay with Bolin, and love Asami, Tenzin, and Lin. But now after finishing watching the series I now still love Asami, Tenzin, Lin, Suyin, and Jinora, now like Korra, now have respect for Mako(he's okay now), and now like Bolin. I will also admit the ending with Korra and Asami did surprised me. First I was nervous, then surprised, and now fully accepted them. Nickelodeon made bold move but I think we should not fully jump into conclusion until Mike and Bryan's next interview and see what they say. Overall I love the ending and hopefully Mike and Bryan have a good long break to rest their brains and come up another good Avatar series. </p>

the last word in the LOK series was: prefect. just like in the ATLA series. and korra had the last line of the series.

<p>after thinking it over, I'm impressed that Bryke actually made Korrasami canon </p><p>at the same time, it feels like it came out of nowhere, and it was hardly any foreshadowing </p><p>they start hanging out in season 3 and bond over the fact that they both liked Mako... that's kinda weird </p><p>also i get the impression they did it because they wanted to please the fans, this probably wasn't their original intention when they made the series </p>
