<p>No. It's not gonna happen. She might reappear to help, the same way the white lotus helped team avatar at then end TLA but that's it. She's not gonna beat Kuvira, this is Legend of Korra. The main character is Korra. Why would Toph come out of nowhere in the last season and beat the last big bad instead of the main character they have been developing for 4 seasons?  </p><p>She might not even move an inch, I mean she wasn't willing to do s*** even though her daughters were in trouble. Even if she did fight Kuvira she might as well lose, she's old now and Kuvira is strong. </p>

<p>Ok, i got overhyped by the idea. Korra will, of course, be the one to beat Kuvira's ass. But Toph is certainly going to join the fight. And she is not going to be very resistant to destroy half of Kuvira's army in the process. Is it by chance that she met with Korra in the beginning of the season, only to be left behind two episodes later? The next episode is named "Reunion", while it could be reunion with anyone, from Lin and Tenzin to god knows who, do you find it rather improbable for Toph to come join? I mean, Reunion with who? They did not alert the United Forces, so it's not going to be General Iroh. Tenzin and Lin are safe back in Republic City, with no reason whatsoever to visit the Earth Empire, or any means to know of what has happened. Toph is the only one who can know, and arrive to save the characters, and for a Reunion with her DAUGHTER, whom she has not seen for many many years. I may be wrong, but the way I see it, most of the evidence points towards Toph. And if she does return, she will be one bad-ass grandma, and had it not been for plot devices, she could easily kill Kuvira without even looking... Get it? Because she can't look? So if she does kill her it will be without looking >.<... Oh, I'm killing myself! </p>

<p>Ok, I saw the preview clip... It's a reunion with Tenzin -_- But Toph is definitely gonna return. </p>

<p>I didn't watch the clip but if it's called reunion, it might be the reunion of new team avatar right?   </p><p>I think she will come back but maybe not, I mean Zuko appeared at the begining of book 3 but wasn't really relevant to its plot. </p>
