<p>I envy your optimism.   </p><p>The tv show is already finished.   </p><p>The manga will continue for a while, but that's about it.   </p><p>Plus, I am worried that if Avatar resurfaces years from now, we'll have another 'Teen Titans' ==> 'Teen Titans Go!' on our hands.   </p><p>(But I am on your side; I want more Avatar!) </p>

<p>I think the creators confirmed that the Avatar series will be over with LoK Season 4.  </p><p>But I still believe there is The Rift Part 3 due for November (I think?). And even if the creators don't get inolved I would still be interested in some comicbook spin offs.  </p><p>I would be keen to see some other series based in the Avatar-verse that focusses on another bender (other than the Avatar), but I don't think it will happen...  </p><p>I would still be interested in what Bryke have to offer after the Avatar series, but it's always sad having to let go of a series that I've been following for so long.  </p><p>On a side note, does anyone want to share any anime/manga that people into Avatar might enjoy? </p>

<p>They've made the following clear: </p>

• There are no immediate plans for another installment in the franchise.

• They're going to be taking a break.

• The setting keeps pulling them back in.

<p>It all depends on ratings. If the show gets GREAT ratings on the internet then we might see some type of Netflix spin off or Nickelodeon.com show. But unfortunately Nick has horrible marketing towards LoK, which will end the series. </p>
