<p>I'm not getting annoyed at all while waiting for Book 4, I can wait patiently. There are other shows or games I like, the <i>Avatar</i> series is one of my favorite TV series, but not my favorite thing in the whole universe or anything like that. </p><p>All I want in Book 4 is for Korra to be completely back to normal (she can't protect the world in a wheelchair), a perfect villain to end the series, and for Book 4 to be a great season overall. </p>

<p>I just had a thought that Tenzin, by making the Air Nomads try to regain peace in the world while Korra is down and out, that he might have accidentally and permantely made the Avatar obsolete. </p>

<p>Korra is obviously dealing with the emotional trauma of everything she's been through. I think in Book 4 she's going to be scared to return to being the avatar right away, even after she's physically healed. I can see her avoiding fights, acting more timid and reclusive. Like, I can see a mugging situation going down as she's walking down the streets of Republic City alone or something like that. And she stops and watches it happen and she wants to stop them, but she's too scared and when the muggers run after her she runs away. I can just see a major blow to her emotional well-being. She's definitely going to have to re-examine what it means to be the avatar and how much of herself she identifies with the role. If she wasn't the avatar, who would she be? It's something she has to figure out this coming season. Normally in the past she's been very headstrong and dedicated to her role as the avatar. But she's probably re-thinking her security in being such a powerful influence on the world. What used to make her feel strong and important, is making her feel scared, insecure, and unimportant since it seems that her villains are trying to snuff her out. And are trying to convince her that the world doesn't need her anymore. So along with that, combined with her physical injuries, she's feeling pretty left out and isolated. Not only can't she do anything to stop the Red Lotus or rebuild the Earth Kingdom at this time, but she's probably feels like.. What's the point since no one wants her around? If I were her, I would also wonder if people only cared about me because I was the avatar. She's probably worried too about what she would become if she were no longer the avatar, if people would still care about her and look up to her. In Season 1 she said that all she's ever wanted to be was the avatar. And she's probably re-thinking that since she physically and emotionally can't be that right now. She's just feeling lost. And I think when Tenzin said the airbenders were going to take on some of the avatar's roles and travel the world, it was like.. the final straw for Korra. And is what made her cry. Because it reiterated her fears that the world can essentially go on without her.  </p>

<p>I think if we see a more vulnerable side of Korra in season 4, it won't be so secretive like we saw in Season 1 where she was afraid to admit she was scared of Amon. It will probably be very obvious and we will probably see an entirely new, safe-acting, reclusive side of Korra until she finds herself. I honestly can't see her healing in 2 episodes or so and then bouncing back to herself right away. I feel like this will be a season-long process. But that's just me. I understand that there has to be action and stuff too since Korra is our main protagonist but.. yea. I don't know what to expect really, lol. It's going to be amazing. I wonder if all the past villains are foreshadowing for Korra really being the last avatar. Not as in she'll die or something, I don't think that will happen. But maybe she somehow relinquishes her powers or loses them somehow and the world gets along in a new way without an avatar.  </p>

<p>With such a small number of episodes, I'm not quite certain they will go the "safe-acting" aspect. I can see them going with a very weakened, physically and emotionally Avatar until someone or something has to snap her out of it. Then it is back to business as usual. </p>

<p>I don't mind the idea of a girl/girl couple but let's be honest--do Korra and Asami really have that much chemistry? They started out as friends who met over the boy that they loved, and I think they're still like that...  </p><p>I wish they weren't. I am so done with Mako. Korra leaves town and the first thing he does is get back together with Asami. What a jerk.  </p><p>All in all, I don't really care what happens to them relationship-wise, I just hope that they find good people and make good decisions--makes the show easier to watch for me. :P   </p>
