<p>True, all too true. It just doesn't stop a few from being curious on she was with before Kanto. </p>

Besides, Lin didn't want kids; that's why she and Tenzin didn't stay together. </p>

<p>Still, one has to wonder what could have been. </p>

<p>Sure, Lin and Tenzin didn't work out, but is that enough to warrent Lin never being interested in other or dating? Much of the family situation seems based on her negative experience with both her sister and mother. Maybe Tenzin was the last straw? </p>

<p>Meh. Maybe she just felt romantic entanglements were overrated? One can be asexual/aromantic and be perfectly content... although saying Lin ever being perfectly content might be a stretch. </p>

<p>That's true, but I wouldn't mention aroace stuff around shippers. :p </p><p>Now that I'm thinking about it, I wonder if her father has anything to do with her problem? I suppose the issue has the potential to be resolved in the comics after the sudden name dropping during book 4. </p>

<p>lol ooops </p><p>From what I gather in Book 4, Lin didn't know her father so the 'issue' likely would be missing parental figure. Baby daddy probably split before she could remember and I imagine that would create some kind of hole in her early life... Which also makes me wonder if Lin knew Su's father. She was like 6 when Su was born so it's possible she remembers baby-daddy #2. (Was this already discussed? I'm too lazy to read all 200 posts) </p>
