</p><p>I'm sure we've read the Rift by now and as such, you're probably aware of a new character introduced named Satoru!
</p><p>I'm sure this is probably talked about before and if so, then whoops (I didn't see any so...) but I wanted to bring in my thoughts to something that probably has been discussed for the last, what? 6 days?
</p><p>Anyways, Satoru as Lin's father, in my opinion, is extremely likely.
</p><p>For one, Satoru's hair and hair color are actually kind of similar to Lin's, I know that's a probably a weak argument but bare with me. We know Lin's hair is styled in a way similar to Satoru's and we also know that in a way, he does resemble Lin a bit, at least, from what I've seen from the pics, I can't help but to compare the two.
</p><p>Also, Satoru is a massive Toph fanboy and immedately ignores Aang (who we all know is the savior of the planet) for her!
</p><p>I'm also gonna touch on the theories that he's the grandfather (or father) of Asami and Hiroshi and I think that's also possible since in a way, they seem similar as well, on top of that, his work in engineering and machinary might be the precursor to Future Industries however, with that said. It's possible that he inspired the foundation of Future Industries as oppose to being apart of it.

<p>Well, we have to know a lot of other things, but the most important is this. I think the creators will figure out something strange, so that Toph will come back in action!!

I do wonder how the knowledge of Su and Lin's fathers will come into play in the story. Could Kuvira somehow be related to either one?

<p>We don't really have any idea who her family is since we don't really know her background other than very basic stuff. I suppose they, if they exist, could be Zaofu. Or she could be the opportunistic orphan. </p>

<p>Yes,i think she's an orphan, because he told at the coronation that she had grown up at Zaofu. Maybe a family had adopted her and maybe, because she hadn't her real parents, became tough, like Lin.
