<p>We've seen what happens when the moon spirit is killed, but what if, instead, the ocean spirit is killed? Does the ocean stop flowing, or something? Please share your thoughts.

<p>I would think all the rhythm of the seas would be thrown into chaos. Tides thrown into disarray, tidal waves randomly assaulting the coastlands, so on and so forth.

<p>Any other ideas? And what would be the effect on waterbenders? Would they lose their abilities, as when the moon spirit was killed?

<p>I don't think they'd lose their power. Maybe they'd lose some amount of control, but not a whole lot.
