<p>I agree with keeping the portals open. Korra wants to see if humanity can work with the spirits and I applaud that. Having seen Wan's life, Korra will surely understand how she can do better in dealing with spirits

She did say that humans can go into the spirit world and vice versa. You also see a bunch of random flying spirits at the end of the last episode too. I doubt many humans started wandering the spirit world so far.

Does anyone think that the dead Air Nomads might return since spirits can enter the physical world again?

<p>So Air dealed with the Air Nomads..........Spirits dealed with the Water Tribes any chance that Book 3 might be about the Earth Kingdom (and it might be connected to Bolin and Lin) and which might probably connected to The Rift trilogy

But weren't Air Nomads all about detachment and such? I feel like they should've been able to go to the Spirit World after death.

<p>I'm mostly with Korra leaving the spirit portals open. It could be a great chance to see the spirits and humans trying to get along. But hey, things can go wrong sometimes.
