He practically leaves and cheats on Asami and just kicks her to the curb for for Korra. I mean, obviously Asami's still going to have feelings for him, so when he breaks up with Korra...he's still continuing to flirt with her and kiss her.

Don't get me wrong, Asami is still a little wrong in the situation. I understand he was her boyfriend first and didn't go through a proper breakup, but she's gotta get her head out of the clouds and realize what she's doing or Korra will just have to go into the avatar state and kill both of them.

All I hope is that the last two episodes fix this. We don't know what's going to happen. All I ask is that they take consideration of season one and let Mako and Korra work it out. I don't want to hate him anymore than I already do, so please, have it so he'll try to redeem himself. He broke up with Asami mutually to be with Korra, there's no reason they shouldn't try DAMMIT!

I'm pretty flabbergasted by the conclusion of the love triangle—and I doubt this is actually the conclusion, given the writers' apparent need to keep reopening a can of worms. Seriously, this was practically a soap opera. Korra's amnesia is what really made it over the top. I really enjoyed Mako's character, up until these last few episodes. The tactical, diligent cop essentially devolved into a fickle, boneheaded teenager; I've never seen such a frustrating, disappointing case of character regression. I honestly hope Mako isn't back together with Asami, come next season; and if it happens, it'll be pretty much result in the mother of all facepalms. As Chi13i said, none of characters are really deserving of hate, even though they're all being pretty stupid like, well, teenagers.

With all of that being said, the final conversation between Mako and Korra was by far the most mature exchange they've ever had. They've finally acknowledged that there are too many difficulties surrounding their relationship—their clashing personalities especially—for it to be long-standing. Let's just hope the writers don't negate whatever little development came out of this fiasco.

The last two episodes are on Nick.com, if you prefer to wait, that's fine with me.

If you're not in the USA, use a vpn, like Tunnelbear. Just google it, it will be the first link you see.

They have the perfect opportunity to write out RC and it's characters for the future books. Mako has his new career and Asami so they are not needed anymore. Bolin finally has Ginger and his own career. I guess we will watch them throw it out to form up Team Avatar again.

At this point, Asami is Mako's best choice, though a Mako will have to explain to Asami that Korra lost her memory and forgot about their breakup. Asami would understand.

Also, Korra might as well get a new sidekick if she won't have team avatar anymore.

I still wish that they'd ditch Bolin and Mako and just have Korra and Asami on the show... And I'm definitely praying that there won't be any shipping in the next book but regardless I don't think they're going to wind up ditching anybody because 1) They really seem keen on the love triangle and 2) They've spent a lot of time with the characters and a lot of fans would be incredibly upset with them if they were written out of the show, plus I'm pretty sure the Voice Actors have confirmed that they were working on Book 4, suggesting that they aren't leaving in book 3.

They've resolved the triangle twice now. I doubt they will do it again unless something happens to Asami. They should just do a new Team Avatar at this point.

I thought they were done— but they brought it back up in Book 2 for no reason. I really wouldn't put it past them to try it again for a third time at this point.

It's not just the Avatar fandom, there are dozens of other fanbases I've seen demanding answers over things completely pointless to the story and don't really add anything whatsoever or are something so simple a brain-damaged monkey could work out what was going on or how it would work. I've always hated this attitude whenever it crops up.

QFT! I couldn't agree more!
